About Us

Building Power, Advancing Equity

The California Young Democrats Bay Area Region unites young people across the nine counties of the Bay to build power, advance equity, and lead with care.

We organize not just to win elections, but to transform systems — creating a region where our communities are seen, our voices are valued, and our leadership reflects the people we serve.

The People's Caucus

Building Power from the Margins Inward

The People's Caucus is a multiracial, intergenerational coalition within the California Young Democrats Bay Area region, committed to building power from the margins inward.

We exist to create and sustain affinity caucuses including Black, Indigenous, Latino, Asian, Queer/LGBTQ+, Women, and more, that reflect the full diversity of our region and uphold the values of representation, hope, and radical inclusivity.

We envision a political movement where leadership is built by us, for us, rooted in lived experience, cultural power, and collective joy.
